MicroSurvey Enters Low Cost Accident Reconstruction Software Market

Westbank, BC – MicroSurvey today announced two new products for the Accident Reconstruction Software market: MapScenes Lite and Evidence Recorder LITE.

After having established its products as the premier tools for the Professional Reconstructionist, MicroSurvey created new tools for officers who collect data using traditional methods of steel tape or measuring wheel. Evidence Recorder LITE, based on Microsoft Windows CE, has special Baseline – Offset measuring programs and room drawing tools that allow officers immediate graphical feedback while entering evidence points. An additional Evidence Logging tool logs the custody of evidence. Create your spreadsheet file from the beginning while you are at the scene, eliminating the need to prepare the log twice.

The desktop companion, MapScenes LITE, has a streamlined interface for the casual user, but it is built with robust tools for the advanced user. With over 7,000 symbols, a built in Vehicle Database of cars from 1973 to present, extensive reconstruction formulas, and tremendous industry file compatibility, it sets the new standard for under $1,000 crash and crime scene diagramming tools.
